Nokia X6 Polar White Edition Launched in China for Yuan 1699


HMD Global had launched its first X-Series smartphone – the Nokia X6 last month in China. It was announced in Blue, Black and Silver colour options. The company has now introduced the new Polar White edition of the smartphone. The new Nokia X6 Polar White edition comes with the price tag of 1,699 Yuan ($257/ Rs.17,620 approx.) and is available to purchase on in China.

Talking about the specifications, the Nokia X6 Polar White edition runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and sports a 5.8” Full HD+ (2280 × 1080 pixels) 19:9 FullView display with iPhone X-like notch and protected with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. It offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Nokia X6 Polar White edition comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 16MP RGB camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.0um pixel size, dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP Monochrome camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.2um pixel size. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture, 1.0um pixel size. Both the cameras offer AI features like portrait shots, scene recognition, background blur, stickers, HDR support, and facial recognition technology to unlock the device.  It also offers the Bothie feature, letting users utilise both front and rear cameras simultaneously.

The Nokia X6 Polar White edition is fuelled by a 3060mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support, it can charge from 0 to 50% in 30 minutes. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM Radio, and USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the back. It measures 147.2×70.98×7.99mm (excluding the lens), going up to 8.59mm with the lens, and weighs 151 grams.
