HMD Global has launched its flagship smartphone, Nokia 8, in India last month. Now the smartphone is available to purchase from Saturday itself via Amazon.in as well as leading retails across the country including Croma, Reliance, Sangeetha Mobiles, Poorvika, and BigC, among others. The device will be available in Tempered Blue, Polished Blue Steel color options, while a fourth Polished Copper variant will be made available a few weeks later.
Nokia 8 Price in India and Launch offers
The Nokia 8 price in India is Rs. 36,999. As per the launch offer company is offering 100GB of additional Jio 4G data which can be used as 10GB extra data a month for up to 10 recharges of Rs. 309 or above until August 31, 2018. Company is also providing Mobile Care Concierge Service access in over 50 cities across the country, where consumers can avail of Nokia Mobile Care services from the convenience of their homes.

To recall, The Nokia 8 features 6000-series aluminium uni-body design and fitted with an elaborate heat management solution with copper pipe that runs from the upper right corner of the device to the lower left has liquid evaporating in the middle, and condensing on the edges. A graphite shield enables heat transfer to the aluminium uni-body and its eventual dissipation to the air. The Nokia 8 also comes with IP54 certification, which means it is splash-proof.
Coming on specification, The Nokia 8 runs on stock Android 7.1.1 Android Nougat operating system, company promises to provide the latest updates to its users without any delay. From recent leaks, it is expected to get Android Oreo update soon. It sports a 5.3” 2K (2560×1440 pixels) LCD display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone is powered by up to 2.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC which is powering nearly all Android flagship smartphones. It offers 4GB of LPPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
The Nokia 8 comes with dual 13MP ZEISS sensors on the back including RGB and monochrome; camera features include f/2.0, 76.9˚, PDAF and IR range finder and dual-tone LED flash, it also features one of a kind “bothies” feature – the ability to capture images and videos from front and rear cameras at the same time and let you live-stream in full-HD over social media platforms. On the front, there is a 13MP PDAF, 1.12um, f/2.0 selfie camera. Both front and rare cameras are capable of recording 4K videos.
The Nokia 8 is fueled by a 3,090 mAh battery and offers all the standard connectivity options including dual-SIM support, 4G, wi-fi, 3.5mm headphone jack (3-mics) and USB 3.1 Type-C among others.
