Nokia 7 Might be launch in India on October 31


HMD Globla is all set to launch a new smartphone in India on October 31, company has sent out has started sending out the media invites for the launch. Notably company did not mentioned the device name in the invites, but it is said that the company will launch the high end Nokia 7 in India which was officially launched last week in China. Also in TechnoCodex opinion HMD Global could launch the Nokia 3310 3G model in India, which earlier launched in US, Singapore in Europe as well.

As of now nothing is clear so we have to wait till the date and lets see what’s came out from the HMD’s box. Nokia 7 was launched in China at ¥2,499 (Rs 24, 731 approx) for 4GB RAM variant and ¥2,699 (Rs 26,710 approx) for 6GB RAM variant. We can expect company will bring the smartphone in India in same price bracket.

To recall, Nokia 7 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and sports a 5.2 Full-HD (1920×1080 pixels)IPS display with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is powered by a 2.2GHz 14nm octa-core Snapdragon 630 SoC coupled with Adreno 508 GPU. It offers 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Nokia 7 comes loaded with a 16MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and PDFA. On the front, there is a 5MP secondary camera with an f/2.0 aperture   and 84-degree field-of-view. The Nokia 7 comes with “a Zeiss imaging experience” that includes the ability to capture what company calls “bothies”. Other camera features include geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and HDR.

The Nokia 7 is fueled by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging support. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, LTE Cat.6, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. There is also a fingerprint scanner at the back.
