HMD Global has announced the launch of Nokia 3.1 A and Nokia 3.1 C budget smartphones for US Carriers AT&T and Cricket Wireless, respectively. Both of these phones are the successor of Nokia 3.1 which was launched back in July 2018. Both of them carries a bigger display, a different SoC, and a different RAM/storage combo.
Nokia 3.1 A & Nokia 3.1 C: Specifications
As mentioned above, these phones are the successor of Nokia 3.1 built for different carriers. So, most of the specifications are identical in both of these phones. They both sports a 5.45 inch HD display with 720 x 1440 pixels resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass.
Under the hood, they both are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 12nm processor which is coupled with Adreno 504 GPU. In addition, they both come with 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
For the optics, both of these phones comes with a single 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12um pixel size.
Apart from this, they run on the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/AGPS+GLONASS+BDS, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack and FM Radio. They both are fuelled by 2900mAh battery.
Nokia 3.1 A & Nokia 3.1 C: Price and Availability
As for the availability, Nokia 3.1 A will be available in black lands in select Walmart stores on June 10, while the Nokia 3.1 C in white will be available from Cricket on June 14. Pricing details have not been shared by the company yet but looking over to the specs, it is expected to be available at a cheap price.
