HMD Global is expected to launch the entry level Android smartphone, Nokia 2, in November. In a conversation with on of a local fan with Nokia Myanmar’s Facebook account, the new entry-level phone will launch in November. Sadly as of now this is for Manaymar only and there’s no indication that it will launch sooner elsewhere.
There are no further details on the matter have been given by the company, Nokia 2 has been rumored from recent month and spotted on several benchmark databases. The entry-level Nokia 2 is expected to equipped with a IPS LCD 4.7” HD (1,280×720 pixels) display and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC. It is also expected to come with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which could be further expanded. The Nokia 2 is expected to come with stock version of Android 7.1 Nougat and could be upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo.
Nokia 2 is also expected to feature on-screen buttons, unlike other Nokia Android smartphones including the flagship Nokia 8, It is also expected to be fueled by a 4000mAh battery
Nokia 2 will be the most affordable device from HMD Globla and it’s possible that it could be limited only for developing markets and never make its way to the West where HMD Global is instead offering a somewhat more powerful Nokia 3.
