Nintendo Switch Lite will Launch on September 20


Nintendo has finally disclosed the launch date of the Nintendo Switch Lite gaming console. This is the lighter, cheaper, and portable version of standard Nintendo Switch. This Lite version of this gaming console is being launched for those who just want to play their favorite gaming titles on the go.

The Nintendo Switch Lite has been given a fixed launch date of September 20 when it will be officially released for gamers to buy. The Switch Lite is priced at $199.99 USD, which is $100 USD cheaper than the standard version of Nintendo Switch which costs $299.99 USD. This will be available in three color options – yellow, gray, and turquoise.

As compared to the regular version, the Switch Lite is smaller in size which measures 3.6 inches high and 8.2 inches long. The Lite’s touchscreen display is also slightly smaller (5.5 inches compared to the regular Switch’s 6.2-inch touch screen). The Switch Lite also packs a huge battery in comparison to that of the regular version and also comes with a D-Pad instead of directional buttons.

Unlike the regular Switch, it will not feature detachable Joy-Con controllers or a kickstand, and it won’t support TV mode. The Lite also does not come with with a Switch Dock.
