Nintendo is revealing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s next DLC fighter this week. The reveal will come by way of a short video presentation that is airing tomorrow, October 1, at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET.
According to Nintendo, the presentation will only run approximately three minutes long, and it will be followed by a “brief message” from game director Masahiro Sakurai, so it appears we won’t get our usual deep-dive look at the new fighter just yet.
This will mark the second DLC fighter to arrive from Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Fighters Pass Vol. 2. The first, Min Min from Arms, was added to the game back in June. The Fighters Pass Vol. 2 will add six new characters in total to the game, so at least four more are still slated to follow. The Fighters Pass Vol. 2 costs $30 USD.
Smash Bros. Ultimate’s most recent update arrived back in August, and it added a free new stage for all players: Small Battlefield. As its name says, this is a smaller version of the classic Battlefield stage, making for a much tighter arena. You can also play any music track from other stages on the level.
