New Xiaomi’s Patent reveals camera module for the upcoming smartphone

Xiaomi has filed two new patents for the design of its upcoming smartphones. These two patents are showing a similar phone’s design with different camera modules that might come with the company’s upcoming smartphone.

This patent was first noticed by a Weibo user who shared this patent design via a post on the Chinese microblogging site – Weibo. Coming to the design of the front panel, both of the patent designs has the same front panel. It has a regular screen with a waterdrop notch at the top. The only difference between both of these patents is different camera modules.

One of the two patents shows the circular camera module that has a horizontally aligned bar with three camera sensors. Above the sensors, there is a flashlight aligned in the middle of the circle. On the other hand, there is a fingerprint sensor in the same circular module which is quite weird to see.

On the other hand, the second patent shows the same camera module without the circular ring. However, there’s a change in the placement of LED flashlights. In place of placing the LED flashlight at the top of the rectangular module, the LED flashlight is placed at the left of the module. Rest, the fingerprint sensor is placed at the bottom of the module. Both of the camera modules have small bumps on the back.

Apart from this, there is a volume and power button at the right of the phone. At the left of the phone, we can see two removable slots that we can expect to have different slots for SIM as well as for a microSD card.

Like most of the patents, there is no guarantee that this patent will turn out to be real. However, it shows a concept for the upcoming phone from Xiaomi. So, which patent do you like the most out of these two? Do share your views in the comment section below.
