New Wallpaper Settings Could Be Coming To iOS 14

Every year in June, Apple announces a new version of its operating systems – iOS, iPadOS, macOS, etc. Well, the scenario for this year is quite different than the past due to the coronavirus outbreak in the world. Just like most of the tech giants, Apple announced to take its annual WWDC 2020 conference online instead of in-person. Since we are getting close to June, the excitement to see what Apple will be releasing this year is increasing, especially for the iOS 14.

We already have some previous reports related to iOS 14 that hinted at what we can expect with the upcoming version of iOS. Last month, 9to5Google reported that iOS 14 will come with a redesigned wallpaper settings panel, and now, a Twitter user called DongleBook Pro has shared some screenshots of the new wallpaper settings panel in iOS 14.

As we can see in the shared screenshots, wallpapers are organized into categories in the new wallpaper settings panel. In the screenshots, we can see only one category which is  ‘Classic Stripes’, but according to code found by 9to5Mac, there will also be categories named ‘Earth & Moon’ and ‘Flowers’.

On looking at these screenshots closely, you would notice that the wallpaper settings show dual-displays. That is probably a part of Apple working to bring actual widgets to the iPhone, reports 9to5Mac based on iOS 14 code they have spotted.

Well, this is a very interesting feature in the iOS 14. However, we don’t have any official confirmation from the company itself. After all, it’s just a leak. So, we advise you to take this leak as a grain of salt until and unless we get confirmation from the company itself. Well, we get more details about iOS 14 in June when Apple will unveil its new products.
