This update introduces a plethora of additions to the game, including new islands, items, modifiers, campaign updates, and more. - New Island: Viking Village – Explore the frozen lands of the Viking Village, where Norse warriors with a penchant for hand-to-hand combat and wooden shields await. Engage in dueling dinghy challenges with their two Death’s Row dinghies.
- New Island: Buzzing Bazaar – Welcome to a notorious trading post frequented by pirates, criminals, and shady businessmen. Traverse the bouncy tent tops or ride a magic carpet through the skies. Many travelers flock here seeking the genie’s lamp and its hidden treasures.
- Updated Island: Shipwreck Shanty – Rope swings now connect the pirate ships in the Shipwreck Shanty, allowing agile pirates to swiftly move between vessels.
- Updated Island: Kaiju Cove – Mangled trees in Kaiju Cove drop unique seeds filled with useful items for your crew.
- New Item: Shield – Defend yourself from attacks and even redirect projectiles towards your enemies. Be mindful, though, as the shield is made of wood and can only withstand one hit.
- New Modify-arr: Shields Up – Equip all pirates with shields from the start. Watch out for incoming projectiles, as they might come flying back at you!
- New Modify-arr: No Scope – Remove scopes from harpoon guns, making them as easy to aim as something you can throw.
- New Game Mode: King of the Hill – Capture and defend the hill to earn points for your crew. The hill’s location changes periodically, so be quick to claim it. Rowboat and cannon victories will reduce your opponents’ score, while gold victories will increase yours.
- New Plunder Panic Mode Option: Starting Weapon – Give the entire crew a head start by equipping swords, blunderbusses, or harpoon guns (if unlocked) through the “Starting Weapon” game mode option.
- Campaign Update: Chapters 45-54 – The single-player campaign now features four new chapters and updates to six previous chapters, incorporating the new islands, items, and modifiers.
- Ranked Play Improvements – Ranked play has been scheduled to concentrate pirate players seeking ranked matches during specific times of the week.
