New Super Mario Bros. U on Wii U platform haven’t got much appreciation as expected. However, it is one of the best-upgraded versions of the legendary Super Mario Game after the release of Super Mario Oddessy. It has new characters, stages, colorful world and there are a lot more things to explore in the new world which is still based on Super Mario’s world but with some great modifications.
In the recent post-release, Ne Super Luigi U added two more campaigns offering shorter levels and a light speed-running element. But Nintendo has added both the campaigns into one package and released the New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, to provide best ever experience to its switch users. The New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe has a huge bundle of 164 levels which you can play. This re-release of Super Mario Bros. U is a classic 2D Super Mario with some modern modifications which are highly praised by us. With the new interesting colorful world, you’ll get immersive playing experience.
You’ll find some new characters who have joined to the roster with Luigi or Toad. Unlike Luigi who offers you less time to go through the levels with slippery controls, Toadette, one among the newly added character is very easy to control. While on the other hand, Nabbit is invulnerable to the enemies. You can switch between both of these characters in the game from Quick trip option from the main menu.
One of the best features of New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is its Multiplayer Gaming. However, it didn’t work well on Wii U, while jumping with two or more players simultaneously by grabbing an extra Joy-Con and while changing players the menu didn’t work properly. Besides these small issues, everything is quick, easy and most important playing your friends is full of fun.
The New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is fresh the version with the same old Super Mario feeling with some great challenges. Like the old one, you have to jump over to the hurdles from the left of your screen to right until you reach the end, but this time you’ll have a time limit within which you have to reach the endpoint which looks is very interesting. With each level you complete, you’ll unlock a new story which has different challenges. One of my reason to play this game for hours is to collect the star points which are hidden in each area to unlock the bonus levels.
Also, you’ll get many mini-challenges which you have to complete while collecting three giant coins in each level and in addition, there’s a brand new Flying Squirrel suit also. Additionally, to make the game more interesting you’ll find some more Bosses in the game. You’ll find Bowser Jr and Seven Koopalings as one of the bosses for which we have noted you recently in our article. This time the game is a bit tricky and is full of challenges which seems interesting to complete. All this entertainment comes in a single package by Nintendo.
Moreover, you’ll find the New Super Luigi U mode unlocked from the start of the game which you need to unlock them in the previous series by completing several levels. Although New Super Luigi U mode is unlocked, I’ll suggest you playing New Super Mario Bros. U first as I told your earlier controlling Luigi is a bit difficult as she didn’t offer you enough time to complete the level. However, if you are fast enough to do this you can go ahead for that.
Overall, this is a great shuffling done by Nintendo to bring a package which has multiplayer support, huge numbers of levels and the most important it is full of fun. So, bringing this at the start of the year is a great kick start for Nintendo for this new year.
