New Nokia smartphone with Model number TA-1198 leaked online featuring triple-rear camera Setup


Nokia smartphones always remain in trends with the latest and new specs onboard. In early 2019, We have already seen Nokia 9 Pureview which features the industry’s first Penta-lens rear camera. However, in the camera department, the company still lags behind in the race of the smartphone with triple rear cameras. Well, it looks like HMD Global is all set to launch a new Nokia smartphone that will feature the company’s first triple rear camera setup.

Today, a digital blogger surfaced some of the images of the new Nokia smartphone with model number TA-1198 on Weibo that comes with the company’s first triple rear cameras setup. The camera setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with Zeiss optics, a 20-megapixel super-wide-angle lens, and a depth sensor accompanied by an LED flash.

As for the physical appearance, this Nokia smartphone is quite slim and features a glossy back panel with a circular shaped triple camera setup followed by a circular fingerprint sensor at the bottom. On the right of the body, there sits the power and the volume buttons, while on the left, a SIM tray and a dedicated AI button are placed. It comes with a USB-Type C connector placed at the bottom followed by speaker grills and primary microphone, while at the top, with a 3.5mm headphone jack is placed alone.

On the front, there is a 5+ inch Full-HD+ (2340×1080 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio and with 410 PPI screen. The screen features a waterdrop notch-style at the front where the selfie camera is placed. There is no information regarding the sensors of the selfie camera. 

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC which is based on the 14nm fabrication process and has Kyro 260 CPU. This processor is coupled with Adreno 512GPU. As of now, there are no details regarding RAM and inbuilt storage. Apart from this, the new Nokia smartphone runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie with July 9 and is running on July Android security patch. It is fuelled by a 3,500mAh battery.

This is the first-ever Nokia smartphone with the triple rear camera setup. Well, these images are still not confirmed by the company, but yes, looking over to the Nokia branding at the bottom of the display makes it quite trustworthy.
