New Apple MacBook Pro model gets approval by the FCC

In May 2019, Apple has refreshed its MacBook Pro lineup that includes the MacBook Pro 13-inch and 15-inch models. And now, it is again rumored that the company is either planning to refresh the MacBook Pro lineup or launch a completely new model of MacBook Pro.

Previously, the company has only refreshed the MacBook Pro with Touch Bars in the 13-inch model. And now, Apple is planning to refresh the MacBook Pro 13-inch models without a Touch Bar. This information came from the latest filings of Apple with the FCC in which the model number is mentioned as A2159.

One of the documents in the FCC filing offers a visual of the labeling that will be placed on the bottom of the machine. The laptop in this listing is rated for 20.3V @ 3A Max, which is equal to 61W and the only hint at it being the 13-inch non-Touch Bar model.

It is rumored that Apple will launch a 16-inch MacBook Pro with slimmer bezels, but there has yet to be any corroborating evidence. However, there is enough time for this rumor to breathe as the 16-inch MacBook Pro isn’t rumored to be unveiled until this fall.
