Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’ Snubbed by the MCU: Marvel’s Lowest Performing Franchise Revived

Marvel‘s Multiverse Saga is just beginning to heat up, but a surprising cross-franchise crossover has raised questions about whether the MCU has taken the all-cameo craziness too far. This unexpected comeback also means that Marvel Studios is once again disregarding a beloved favorite from Netflix’s now-defunct Defenders universe. Additionally, it seems that the secrets of Secret Invasion may have been revealed as early as last fall.

A 20-year-old Marvel franchise that struggled at the box office has made a comeback

Not every Marvel franchise achieved the same success as the MCU, and Fox’s Daredevil universe, which included the 2003 Ben Affleck movie and its unsuccessful spinoff Elektra, stands out as the least profitable. That’s why it’s surprising that one star from this defunct cinematic universe is returning for Deadpool 3, especially considering the difficulties faced by the MCU. It seems like the Ryan Reynolds threequel is determined to overshadow Doctor Strange 2 by introducing even more unexpected guest stars, such as Black Bolt from Inhumans.

Jennifer Garner’s Elektra comeback leaves another beloved Daredevil character out in the cold

The returning star in question is Jennifer Garner, reprising her role as Elektra Natchios against all odds. It’s likely that her involvement has more to do with her previous working relationship with Reynolds and director Shawn Levy on Netflix’s The Adam Project. However, it’s unfortunate that Garner’s casting comes at the expense of another beloved Netflix star that fans are eager to see return to the MCU.

Despite years of requests, there’s been no word on Elodie Yung reprising her role as Elektra in Daredevil: Born Again. It seems there’s only room for one Elektra in this franchise, but did Marvel make the right choice?

Secret Invasion may have revealed its biggest twist in an unexpected way

Viewers of Secret Invasion are still recovering from the shocking death in the third episode of the Disney Plus show, but many believe that this won’t be the last time we see a certain Game of Thrones icon in the Marvel universe. In fact, there may be a major revelation hidden in an unexpected place. The true fate of Emilia Clarke’s character in the MCU may have already been unveiled in an innocuous Marvel upload from last fall. Stay tuned on Wednesdays for more episodes of the series, but it’s possible that its secrets are already out there.
