NEW DELHI: State-owned telecom operator MTNL has launched a new prepaid plan of Rs 399. The plan comes with the validity of 28 days and presently it is available for its subscribers in the Mumbai telecom circle. The plan offers data benefits, talktime, and free SMS.
Under the plan of Rs 399, MTNL users will get 500MB data daily, unlimited local and STD calls, and 100 SMS per day. The plan comes with the validity of 28 days.
Apart from launching a new plan, MTNL is also reintroducing two of its old plans. The service provider is introducing the Rs 1,298 and Rs 1,499 prepaid plans. The telco introduced these two plans on a promotional basis and they had expired in July. However, now the telecom operator has introduced them again for a period of 90 days. The MTNL users can avail of both the plans till November 11, 2020.
So, under the Rs 1,298 prepaid plan, MTNL offers 2GB data per day and the plan is valid for a period of 270 days. The plan does not offer any calling or SMS benefits. In order to activate the plan, users just have to send an SMS that reads, “SUB RCH1298” to 444.
On the other hand, the Rs 1,499 plan offers 2GB data per day along with free and unlimited voice calling facility both local and STD. The plan is valid for the period of 365 days and it also allows users to send 100 SMS per day. The telco also mentions that in case the user exhaust the daily data limit of 2GB then they will have to pay 3 paise per 10KB.
Recently, MTNL launched a prepaid plan of Rs 251. The new STV 251 plan offers 1GB daily data along with unlimited calls for a period of 28 days. If the daily data limit is reached, subscribers will have to pay 3 paise per 10KB. Users can avail unlimited local and STD calls along with 100 free SMS per day.
