Mozilla Launches Firefox 71 with Picture-in-Picture Support

Mozilla has today announced the availability of its new Firefox edition i.e. Firefox 71. The updated Mozilla Firefox 71 web browser now supports the much-awaited picture-in-picture mode on Windows. Apart from this feature, the updated browser brings several other features and improvements to the existing Firefox browser.

If we talk about the improvements, Firefox 71 brings a new integrated password manager to the browser. Firefox will now recognize the subdomains and it will automatically autofill the login requirements from lockwise. Integrated breach alerts from Firefox Monitor are now also available with screen readers. Users will also see notifications when the browser blocks down something which is irrelevant to you and your browsing activities.

If you use the Firefox Web browser on Windows PC, you will be able to use the Picture-in-Picture mode on the browser. That means the Picture-in-Picture mode will automatically be enabled while working on a Windows system. You can disable this feature as well.

You can just select the blue icon from the right edge of the video frame and the video’s small screen will be taken to the extreme bottom right corner with a floating window. You can carry on with other tabs while the video will still be there and actively playing.

Furthermore, the same Picture-in-Picture mode will be made available for Mac users and Linux users with the upcoming edition of Firefox browser i.e. Firefox 72. The Firefox 72 is set to release in the next year, hopefully in January month.

Tracking feature has also been improved with the latest edition of the Mozilla Firefox browser. The company has claimed that they have blocked over 1 Trillion trackers till date through their tracking feature. It has introduced an enhanced tracking protection tool that helps users blocks down the websites that collects your browsing activities.

Firefox’ Enhanced Tracking Protection was launched with the Firefox 69 edition. The latest edition has an improved version of this tracking tool.
