Mozilla announced an optimized version of Firefox for iPad


Mozilla has released an optimized version of Firefox today which is specially made for Apple’s iPad. This browser is specially made to take better advantages of huge screens like that of iPad’s screen. Firefox for iPad now supports built-in split screen feature of iOS and also support the keyboard shortcuts.

“We know that iPads aren’t just bigger versions of iPhones,” Mozilla said in today’s announcement. “You use them differently, you need them for different things. So rather than just make a bigger version of our browser for iOS, we made Firefox for iPad look and feel like it was custom made for a tablet.”

This updated version of Firefox let you set it as your default browser in Outlook for iOS. Firefox has now organized all your tabs as easier-to-discern tiles. Also, it let you to jump to the private tab in just a single click on the main screen.

In addition, the newly upgraded Firefox will allow you to share your whole tab to your another synchronized device instead of copy-pasting the URL from one device to another. In all way, Firefox is made to be more comfortable browser than any other on iPad. So, if you are looking for an alternative browser than your Safari, then you can go with Firefox.
