Moto Z4 with 48MP single rear, Snapdragon 675 SoC Launched: Price, Specifications and More


Motorola has launched its latest smartphone in the market called the Moto Z4. However, at the initial stage, this smartphone will only be made available in the US and Canada. Although, the company didn’t unveil its plan to launch the phone in India but as we look into the past, we already have some phones in India from the Moto Z series. And so, there is a finite chance that the Moto Z4 will soon launch in India.

Moto Z4 is loaded with the latest technology and high-end specifications. It comes with a 48-megapixel single rear camera and is powered by SD 675 processor. t also supports the Moto Mods that past Moto Z-series smartphones do. Moto Z4 Specifications

The all-new Moto Z4 features a 6.40-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) OLED display and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC which is coupled with 4GB of RAM. As for the storage, it comes with 128GB if inbuilt memory which can be further expanded up to 2TB via a MicroSD card.

In the camera department, Moto Z4 comes with a 48-megapixel single rear camera with an f/1.7 aperture, a pixel size of 1.6-microns, and produces 12-megapixel images. It has PDAF and laser autofocus, apart from correlated temperature dual-LED flash. On the front, there is a 25-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 0.9-micron pixel size.

Apart from this, Moto Z4 runs on the latest Android 9 Pie OS. For the initial stages, the Moto Z4 comes in only a single-SIM (Nano) variant in the US, however, we may expect to see the dual-sim variants in countries like India and China.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, USB Type-C. Sensors on the Moto Z4 include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The Moto Z4 also has an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. Also, this phone is fuelled by 3,600mAh and comes with a 15W company’s TurboCharge fast charging technology.

Moto Z4 Price and Availability

In the US, Moto Z4 is priced at $499 (approx Rs. 34,900) for its sole 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant.The Moto 360 Camera Mod will be bundled for unlocked models at the same price, the company said.

As for the availability, the Moto Z4 will be available in Flash Grey and Frost White color variants and will kick off on its first sale on June 6 in the US (pre-orders start from today), and in Canada later this summer.

It is also being offered to Verizon customers at $240 ($10 for 24 months) from June 13. A 5G Moto Mod will be made available for Verizon customers at $199.99 (approx Rs. 14,000).
