Moto G8 Plus leaked renders confirm triple rear camera setup

Just after the launch of Motorola One Macro, it seems like the company is gearing up to launch its next device in the market. Earlier this year, a reliable source revealed key specifications of the upcoming device, which we believe will be called the Moto G8 or Moto G8 Plus. At that time, it was speculated that the upcoming Moto G8 Plus device will be powered by Snapdragon 665 SoC and will feature a triple rear camera setup. Now, new leaked renders and specifications of the device have confirmed some of these details.

Moto G8 Plus Leaked Specifications

First of all, this leaked render has been surfaced online by WinFuture. According to the report, The new Motorola G8 plus will feature a 6.3-inch FHD+ IPS display with 2280 x 1080 resolution and a teardrop notch at the top of the selfie camera.

Apart from this, the leak also confirms that this Smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SOC that will be coupled with up to 4GB of Ram and upto 128GB of onboard storage. Additionally, the storage can be extended upto 1TB via an external MicroSD card.

In the camera department, the leaks suggest that the device will sport a quad-rear camera that includes a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide shooter with a 117-degree field of view, a 16MP action camera that comes with the Motorola One Action, and a 5MP depth sensor, and a laser autofocus module. At the front, there is also a 25MP selfie camera for selfies and video calling.

The leak also highlights that the Moto G8 Plus will feature a 4,000mAh battery with quick charge support using the Turbo Power adapter. In terms of I/O, the device features a USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additional details include dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, and NFC. However, the NFC variant may not be launched in all regions. 

The device is expected to run Android Pie out of the box and is expected to be unveiled on October 24 at an event in Brazil. As of now, there’s no information on the pricing and availability.
