Moto G8 Play Specifications Leaked Online


Motorola is doing well in the Smartphones market with its Motorola G Smartphone series. The Moto G7 Play smartphone was launched about six months ago which is the latest smartphone under Motorola’s G Series. Today, the list of specifications of Motorola’s upcoming smartphone, Moto G8 Play leaked online. Let’s get on to the details!

According to reports, Motorola is planning to launch four new smartphones under its G series with Moto G8, Moto G8 Play, Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Power. Today’s leak is all about the Motorola Moto G8 Play smartphone.

Depending on the market, there will be three different models of the Moto G8 Play smartphone available on the market with  XT2015-2, XT2016-1, or XT2016-2.

The Moto G8 Play is expected to sport a 5.7-inch display with a screen resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. An aspect ratio would be 19:9. It would be an HD+ screen with better visuality. The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Chipset. Reports are claiming that the new Moto G8 Play smartphone will be using either Helio P60 or Helio P70 Chips.

The phone will be running on the latest Android 9.0 Pie Operating System. Motorola will offer additional customization options with the Android Pie OS. The phone is still in its development phase so we have limited information about the device with us.

Additionally, there will be two different variants of the phone available with 3GB and 4GB RAM options. The phones will come with 32GB and 64GB Internal Memory Storage options. It will be backed by a 4,000 mAh of battery capacity.

The G8 Play will come with the traditional Physical Fingerprint Scanner located at the backside of the device. The Camera module will be at the center position and the Fingerprint Scanner will be placed right below the camera module. The Motorola Logo will be placed below the Fingerprint Scanner.

If we talk about the color variants, then the device will come in two different color options i.e. Cosmo and Iron as per the FCC listing and previous leaks. We will have to wait for a few more weeks to get the details about its pricing and availability and its launch date.
