Moto G6 with FHD+ Display, Dual Rear Cameras Launched in India


Motorola has today launched its latest ‘G Series’ smartphone the Moto G6 in India. The smartphone comes with the price tag of Rs. Rs. 13,999 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant and Rs. 15,999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage options. It will be available exclusively on Amazon India starting today mid-night as well as Moto Hub stores across the country. It comes only in Indigo Black color option.

Moto G6 Launch offers

As for the launch offers, the company is offering a flat Rs. 1,250 discount on HDFC credit and debit cards as well as EMI transactions. There are also no-cost EMI up to 9 months, up to Rs. 1,000 extra off on exchange, up to 80 percent off on Kindle ebooks (up to Rs. 300), and the inclusion of 1-year of Amazon Prime subscription on Airtel postpaid plans worth Rs. 499 and above. Also, Customer shop using the Paytm Mall QR code at Moto Hubs will get Rs. 1,200 cashback on mobile recharges on Paytm.

Moto G6 Specifications

Talking about the specifications, the Moto G6 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and sports a 5.7” Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) 18:9 Max Vision IPS display with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. as mentioned above, it comes in two memory configurations – 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage and  4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Moto G6 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 12MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 5MP secondary camera with along with LED flash support. Camera features include slow-motion video recording, Bokeh depth-of-field Portrait Mode, a Text Scanner mode that converts an image to text, and a Spot Color mode that lets users retain colour on only one object in the image while turning the rest of the photo monochrome. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash support and 4MP adaptive low light mode.

The Moto G6 is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery with Turbo charging technology that promises hours of battery life after just a few minutes of charging. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the front.  It measures 153.8 x 72.3 x 8.3 mm and weighs 167 grams.
