Moto G6 Plus Launched in India with a Higher Price Tag: Price, Specifications and more


Lenovo owned Motorola has today launched its latest G6-Series smartphone dubbed as Moto G6 Plus, for the Indian market. The smartphone was unveiled globally in April along with Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play which was launched in India in June this year. The smartphone offers top-end specification among the G6-series with a faster processor and 6GB RAM.

Moto G6 Plus Price and Availability

The Moto G6 Plus comes with the price tag of Rs. 22,499 and will be available to purchase exclusively via Amazon India and Moto Hubs online stores as well as Motorola’s offline retail partners starting today. It comes only in Indigo Black colour option.

As for the launch offers, the company is offering  Rs 3000 Paytm Mall cashback if you go to store and shop using Paytm Mall app. There is a No-cost EMIs with Bajaj Finserve and Home Credit. Reliance Jio users will also get benefits up to Rs 4,450, which will be applicable on Rs 198 and Rs 299 plans. Furthermore, Jio users will also get instant cashback vouchers worth Rs 2,200. There is also a Cleartrip Cashback and AJIO Discount vouchers of Rs. 1250 and Rs. 1000 respectively.

Moto G6 Plus Specifications

The Moto G6 Plus runs on the stock version of Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and sports a 5.93” full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixel) 18:9 IPS display with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. The smartphone is powered by a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 508 GPU. It offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Moto 6G comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 12MP primary sensor with  f/1.7 aperture with 78-degree lens and a 5MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture with 79-degree lens. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture with 80-degree lens. It has a dual-tone, dual-lens LED flash on the back, and a selfie flash in front.

The Moto 6G is fuelled by a  3,200mAh battery with TurboPower adaptor that is claimed to deliver 7 hours of use on a charge of 15 minutes. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0,  GPS, GLONASS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the front below the display. The phone also features a water-repellent coating that protects the phone from splashed or light rain. It measures 159.9×75.5×7.99mm and weighs 165 grams.
