Minecraft To Receive Ray Tracking Support

Minecraft is undoubtedly the most exciting productive games in the world. This mighty structure building game receives regular updates with new features and functions to make the gameplay more exciting for the gamers. Today, Nvidia has announced that is currently working on official ray tracking support for the game.

Nvidia is working with a team of Minecraft’s Developers to make this happen in real. The upcoming Windows 10’s Free update of Minecraft game will receive this new real-time ray tracing feature to the game very soon. The new update with Ray Tracing is scheduled to be released next year i.e. in the year 2020.

According to Saxs Persson, franchise creative director of Minecraft at Microsoft, Ray Tracing is in center of what we think of a new Minecraft update. This clearly suggests that the developers are focusing on more on implementing ray tracing to the next update of the game.

We have seen the same Ray Tracing feature which is being added by the developers of plenty of games. The same is now coming to the popular Minecraft game. This news is very strange and nobody has ever expected it at least for the low graphical game like Minecraft. But well, it is already in the work and we will get to see this feature with the next major update of the Minecraft game.

The new ray tracing feature would work like wonders for the pro-gamers who want accuracy in their work while building new things on the game. Minecraft requires high-profile system and we could easily use such extraordinary features on the game since there would be no system limitations.

According to Nvidia, Minecraft’s Ray Tracing will add effects from the sun, sky and various light sources to the objects. Depending upon the size, height, shape and distance, the new ray tracing will add realistic shadows of the objects. It will also add indirect diffuse illumination and Indirect specular illumination for reflections. It will also work well with transparent materials such as glass, mirror, ice etc.

The Ray Tracing feature will also change the entire atmosphere of the game like never before. It would be a great update for the pro-gamers of the Minecraft game.
