Millions of Fake Reviews were Removed from Google Play Store in Recent Week


Reviews are the first and the foremost thing that a user considers while installing New Apps from Play Store. But as you all had come across that many high categorized and famous applications suffered from decent and bad reviews on them which reduce their effectiveness and credibility for the user. As a result, their download count was getting reduced. Looking forward to this Major Problem, Google took a hard step in the past week and had wiped out Millions of reviews from the Play Store.

Not only this, but they had also removed thousands of Applications from their list which were found to be responsible for these suspicious activities. They found many applications which were not up to the mark but had Five-Star rating on them. Google concluded that most of the reviews were off-topic, false, and indecent. They just want serious and genuine reviews and ratings on the apps available on Play Store. Due to these reviews and ratings on the applications, the trust and credibility of Play Store were going off the track. From this step, it is cleared now that Google has become serious about the foul activities which most of the user do nowadays.

They stated that they will keep doing such surveys on the Play Store and will keep track of such types of activities. So, it can be concluded that Google is not going to bother any foul ratings and reviews on applications listed on the Google Play Store which decreases their credibility for the users and will probably take some more serious steps towards making the user experience seamlessly on Play Store. So, from now keep in mind that always submit genuine reviews regarding the particular Application, don’t give false rating and reviews to the application as Google might remove your review too!
