Microsoft’s Secret Design of a Handheld Xbox 2 Revealed

We have been hearing a lot about Microsoft’s new venture to bring its Xbox Console to the hands of its consumers with a handheld console. Today, Microsoft has filed a patent which reveals how exactly the new Handheld Xbox 2 console will look like. It’s very good news for those who are looking for an alternative to a giant console box.

Many of the world’s giant tech blogs and gaming blogs have released different types of images of Microsoft’s new hand-held gaming device. If we go by the patent image surfaced on the Internet, the new hand-held Xbox 2 console looks like a smartphone. The main body does look like a smartphone with two gates.

The design shows a couple of Pin Controller’s ports as extra attachments. You would be able to connect your Smartphone to run an app and the compatible games on this console through the Pin controllers. You would get the same interface of the game just like playing it on the main console by connecting controllers to the pin on both the sides.

The design is just like Nintendo’s Switch console and you will get kind of the same interface on this handheld console of Microsoft’s console. The screen will have no controls and it will be independent of the controllers and buttons. You would be able to use the controls from sides of the screen with two hands.

The console also features pads with ABXY Buttons and a D-pad. Thumb-sticks will also be present for the users to play it effectively. The console also features Audio Speakers and a Headphone Jack to connect hands-free or any other 3.5mm Compatible devices.

Interestingly, the console will also let you connect it with the Internet means you can use the Internet connectivity feature to play the games over the Internet. Unlike the original Xbox Console, you will not get that rich graphical interface on the handheld console, but it will offer quite an impressive graphics.

If your console is connected to a high-speed Internet, it will offer rich interface just like the console with better graphics.

More details about this console will be coming in the next few weeks as the company has already begun working on it.
