Microsoft reportedly working on “Surface Buds” to give a tough to AirBuds

Microsoft is said to be working on wireless earbuds called “Surface Buds”. These earbuds will be similar to that of AirPods which gained huge popularity in the market. We have seen last week that Amazon is also rumored to be working on AirBuds, and now another tech giant is on its way to developing a rival of AirBuds.

According to Thurrott, Surface Buds will include the company’s own Cortona voice assistant and will be featuring noise-cancellation. As of now, no more information has been revealed about Surface Buds, but they are expected to be released by the end of this year.

This is not the first entry of Microsoft in the audiophile market, previously, Microsoft has released wireless Surface Headphones last year. Although Surface Headphones delivers a good mixture sound over a good range, but the price of this audio device was quite expensive. And so, they didn’t perform well in the market as they were expected to do. But on the contrary, Apple’s AirPods are a good balance of size, price, sound, and reliability making them popular in the market.
