Apart from this, the new update also brings the ability to chat with separate windows within one screen. This means you can chat with multiple contacts simultaneously with multi-window support feature. All the windows of different chats will be there on your screen.
Furthermore, the app has added integration of Microsoft Teams and Skype. Users will now be able to make voice calls or send text messages from Teams to Skype. You need to first enable this feature on the updated app from the Microsoft Teams app on a respective smartphone. You can also make use of this feature vice-versa.
If we talk more about the Microsoft Teams app, the app supports up to 10,000 members in a single team. The app was supporting 5,000 members previously. The company has doubled the number of team members and participants with this new major update of the app.
If you want to invite a new member, there will be different options for the new member to join your team. The sent link can be opened using the web browser or with the Microsoft Teams app which must be installed on his smartphone. You will also be given an option to download the Microsoft Teams app for a compatible smartphone.
For security, the app has now added a new two-factor authentication feature. The user policies have also been changed and improved to keep everything safe. We will get to see more from Microsoft once the lockdown called off by the Government.
