Microsoft is releasing the Canary and Developer builds of its highly-anticipated web browser, Chromium Edge. The company is making this new web browser available for testing purposes for the developers from today itself.

According to this release, the new Chromium Edge browser will add more features and functions by the passing of time for the developers who will be able to use and explore the newly added features. Fortunately, both the editions of the Chromium Edge browser from Microsoft are now available to download from its official website. You can get them from this link.

The App’s beta version is listed with a tag Coming Soon, this means the app version of this browser will soon be available for the developers.

Currently, the Dev Channel version is highly recommended edition of the browser by the experts. It is the most stable version of the browser with less bugs. This edition will receive weekly updates with new features and functions.

On the other hand, the Canary Channel of the same browser is updated daily with new things. So if you wish to test out all the features of the browser, then this Canary Channel is less stable compared to the Dev Channel as the core functions will be changing everyday and you won’t be able to use and review the browser entirely.

Just like Google’s Chrome web browser, the new Microsoft Chromium Edge browser will aslo let users add additional extensions to the browser. Users can sync things between different devices and computers while working with the same browser. So yes, you will get kind of the same features and functions like Google’s popular Chrome web browser.

If we talk about the items which can sync easily between the devices are browsing history, favorites and many other functions while you surf through this browser. Everything will be well-synced between the devices and you can get the same interface on different devices.

Currently, Dev and Canary editions of the Chromium Browser are released for MacOS and Windows 10 users only. The same will be made available to Windows 7 and Windows 8 PCs very soon.
