Microsoft announces Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 at E3 2019


Along with the announcement of many new games at E3 2019, Microsoft also announces its Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. The company announces to launch this Gaming Controller on November 4 for $180 USD.

This new controller is the successor of Elite Series 1 which has been redesigned completely from inner mechanism to the physical body. The company promises this controller to be the most advanced controller in the world, with adjustable-tension thumbsticks, higher precision control, three shorter hair trigger locks.

It also comes with a wrap-around rubberized grip, and myriad ways to customize, complete with custom profiles that allow you to preset various configurations for specific games or genres. Along with this, you’ll be able to customize buttons to serve as shortcuts for voice commands.

As for the compatibility, this controller works on both Xbox One and PC. It comes with a new detachable charging dock, internal rechargeable battery which gives 40 hours of working time once on a full charge ensures you’ll be able to play for longer.

As of now, there is no confirmation given from the company regarding the compatibility of this controller with the Xbox Scarlett, the next-gen Xbox Console. Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 is up for pre-order on the Xbox website.
