Mi Notebook 14, Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition With 10th-Gen Intel Core Processors Launched in India: Price, Specifications

Xiaomi has launched its Mi Notebook 14 and Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition in India on Thursday. This is the company’s first laptops to be launched in the country. The Mi Notebook 14 and Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition laptops come with 10th-generation Intel Core processors and include optional Nvidia GeForce graphics. Both of the notebooks come with slim bezels and includes a good set of hardware to meet customer’s need. Read on to get more details on the specifications and price of both of the notebooks.

Mi Notebook 14 Specifications

As for the specifications, the newly launched Mi Notebook 14 comes with a 14-inch full-HD (1,920×1,080 pixels) display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio. There are 3mm of thin bezels on the top and sides of the display panel.

Under the hood, the notebook is powered by a 10th-generation Intel Core i5 processor, coupled with up to Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics and 8GB of DDR4 RAM. In the storage department, the Mi Notebook 14 comes with up to 512GB of SATA SSD.

Since this notebook doesn’t have a built-in webcam, Xiaomi packed a USB webcam inside the box. In terms of connectivity, the Mi Notebook 14 has Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, two USB 3.1 ports, a USB 2.0 port, and a USB Type-C port for data transfer and charging. There is a chiclet-style keyboard that has a scissor mechanism and key travel of 1.3mm. The keyboard is coupled with a multitouch-supporting trackpad.

Lastly, Xiaomi has provided a built-in battery that is said to deliver up to 10 hours of usage on a single charge. Apart from this, Xiaomi has also added some smart features like Mi Blaze Unlock functionality on both of the models that will let you unlock the system by placing a Mi Band 3 or Mi Band 4 near your device, without entering the password.

In addition to the base model, the Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition comes with a 14-inch full-HD (1,920×1,080 pixels) anti-glare IPS display with a screen-to-body ratio of 91 percent, 60Hz refresh rate, and 178-degree viewing angles. Just like the base variant, there are 3mm of thin bezels on the top and sides of the display panel.

Under the hood, the Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition is powered by a 10th-generation Intel Core i5-10210U and Intel Core i7-10510U processor options, paired with onboard graphics or Nvidia GeForce MX350 GPU and 8GB of DDR4 RAM. The laptop also has up to 512GB of NVMe M.2 SSD with a bandwidth of 3,000MB/s.

In terms of connectivity, the Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition has Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, two USB 3.1 ports, a USB 2.0 port, and a USB Type-C port for data transfer and charging. There is a chiclet-style keyboard that has a scissor mechanism and key travel of 1.3mm. It also comes with a USB webcam that Xiaomi packs in the box.

The Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition comes with stereo speakers and includes DTS Audio processing. Xiaomi has preloaded the laptop with Mi Blaze Unlock and Mi Quickshare.  Lastly, the Mi Notebook 14 Horizon is backed up by a 46Wh battery that is claimed to deliver up to 10 hours of usage on a single charge.

As for the price, the Mi Notebook 14 price in India has been set at Rs. 41,999 for the base 256GB SSD model and the 512GB SSD model will be available at Rs. 44,999. There is a model with Nvidia GeForce MX250 GPU as well that is priced at Rs. 47,999.

On the other hand, the Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition will be available with a starting price of Rs. 54,999 for the Intel Core i5 model. The notebook also has an Intel Core i7 option that is available at Rs. 59,999.

As of now, both of these notebooks are available for introductory sale which is which will start on June 17 and will live until July 16. All the above-mentioned price is valid for only the introductory promotional sale. Xiaomi will reveal the actual pricing of both notebooks after the offer.
