Meizu M8C with 5.45-inch 18:9 display, SD 425 SoC Launched


Meizu has today launched a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as Meizu M8c in Russia. The smartphone comes with the price tag of RUB 9,990 (€140/ $160/ Rs.11,075 approx.) It comes in Red, Gold, Blue and Black colour options.

Talking about the specifications, the Meizu M8c runs on an unspecified version Android operating system and sports a 5.45’ HD+ (1,440 x 720 pixels) 18:9 display. The smartphone is powered by the 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 308 GPU. It offers 2GB of RAM with 16/32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via mciroSD card.

For photography, the Meizu M8c comes with a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and LED flash support for better lowlight capturing. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera also equipped with ArcSoft photo editing algorithm to capture beautiful and natural portrait shots. It also has facial recognition technology to unlock the device.

The Meizu M8c is fuelled by a 3,070mAh non-removable battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/AGPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. Sensors on board include Gravity sensor, light sensor, and distance sensor. It measures 146.4 x 70 x 8.5mm and weighs around 140 grams.
