The highly anticipated expansion to the wildly popular Grand Theft Auto V, GTA Online: San Andreas Mercenaries, has been released by Rockstar Games. Packed with new features like quality-of-life improvements and career progression, the game also introduces a series of fresh challenges and missions for players to undertake.
One such challenge is Project Overthrow, where players team up with Carlie Reed to attack Merryweather Security. The extensive plot spans six missions and can be played with up to four people. To access Project Overthrow, players must upgrade their Mammoth Avenger and utilize the new Operations Terminal.
The Operations Terminal also grants access to the Los Santos Angels missions, where players carry out covert ops activities like jumping onto a moving aircraft carrier under cover of darkness and using EMPs to knock out a government installation. Meanwhile, the expansion offers a plethora of other features, including more upgrade options for players’ hangars, four new Source and Sell Missions, and the ability to customize the Avenger with machine guns, missiles, and more.
New vehicles like the Grotti Itali GTO Stinger TT, Maibatsu MonstroCiti’s, and Tactical SMG are now available, and members of GTA+ will receive several bonuses such as a new Maibatsu MonstroCiti Off-Road Vehicle, 1.5X GTA$ and RP on Project Overthrow Missions, and a $500,000 in-game monthly bonus.
The patch notes for GTA Online: San Andreas Mercenaries, include the introduction of the Los Santos Angels group and six new story missions playable with up to four people, new hangar upgrades, returning vehicles, seven new cars and a new weapon, as well as cosmetics and experience improvements.
Rockstar Games has also made signing-in even more accessible by introducing QR code sign-in, making it easier for players to get started and enjoy the new content. All in all, GTA Online: San Andreas Mercenaries promises to be an exciting and immersive experience for fans of the franchise.
