Marvel Games Debuts New Jaden Music Video

Spider-Man soundtrack veteran Jaden Smith debuts his latest music video through Marvel.

Since it was announced at the PS5 showcase earlier this year, the hype for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales has been through the roof. Now that the game is out, it seems like people just can’t get enough Spidey content. Not only is the game great (our review is still to come), but the soundtrack for Miles Morales is pretty banging too. Today, the newest music video for Jaden Smith’s song “I’m Ready” debuted on the Marvel Entertainment YouTube page.

“I’m Ready” is one of the few hip-hop/rap tracks made for the game that is not orchestral work done by the very talented John Paesano. The announcement for the music video was tweeted out by the official Marvel Games Twitter account saying, “swing by the Marvel YouTube channel NOW to watch the music video for @Jaden’s ‘I’m Ready’!”

This is not the first time that Smith has released music for Miles Morales related content. In 2018, he joined rappers and hip-hop artists such as Post Malone, Juice WRLD, Aminé, and many more to be a part of the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse official soundtrack.

In both Miles Morales and Spider-verse, Smith’s songs have been standouts in albums already full of bangers.

The new music video for “I’m Ready” shows an intimate performance by Smith on a rooftop that’s cut together with scenes from the game. If anything, the video almost serves as an additional trailer to Miles Morales for fans of Jaden who haven’t yet bought the game.

You can see for yourself and check out the video right here.
