Little Hope Trailer Details What Players Can Expect

A new trailer for The Dark Pictures: Little Hope has been released which gets players ready for the terror that awaits them.

With two weeks until release, Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for The Dark Pictures: Little Hope. You can watch it below.

The trailer starts out with The Curator, a character from 2019’s Man of Medan, explaining that the stories in The Dark Pictures Anthology focus on themes such as greed, beauty, and death. From there, we get a look at Little Hope and the characters you’ll encounter along the way. Like Man of Medan, every choice you make in the game matters. Throughout the trailer, we see several moments where you have to make tough decisions like whether to save someone or not, if you should say something or be quiet, or confront someone. Another feature making a return is Premonitions which foreshadow potential outcomes in the story.

In addition to tough choices to make, the trailer mentions that there are secrets to find throughout the game and it shows a menu where you can see what you’ve found. The game also comes with bonus behind the scenes content, a comic, and an exclusive art book.

For those that don’t know, The Dark Pictures: Little Hope is set in an abandoned town as four college students try escaping the mysterious fog that traps them in. Unlike Man of Medan, Little Hope takes place in multiple time periods. The game was announced last year after the release of Man of Medan. Back in June, it was announced that Little Hope would be delayed to this fall after being previously scheduled for this past summer. As a part of the Dark Pictures Anthology, the game is a stand-alone story but connects to Man of Medan and future games in the series.

The Dark Pictures: Little Hope releases on October 30 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is available for preorder on Amazon now. As more news comes out about the Dark Pictures Anthology, we’ll be sure to let you know.
