LG teased a Touchless Interface for its upcoming Smartphone to be unveiled at MWC 2019

Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 will be coming in the next month. Looking forward to it all the Mobile Manufacturers are ready with their flagships to showcase them in this event. Amongst many global giants, it seems like LG is also prepared to showcase its upcoming flagship in MWC 2019 as LG sent a “Save a Date” invitation for its unveiling event at MWC 2019 through a 10-sec video.

LG had teased a video on its official YouTube Channel. This video showcase a hand waving over a white paper and changing words effortlessly with every wave of the hand. A message appeared on the paper saying “Goodbye Touch” and fades away with a wave of the hand. After that, it shows the message of the premiere of their new flagship in MWC 2019.

This 10-sec video gives us an idea that, most likely LG is preparing to reveal a Touchless Interface on its new flagship which they are going to showcase in this event. Here touchless interface means, user, can control the functionality of this phone via Gestures without touching the screen. If this feature will be embedded in the upcoming phone of LG, then it will draw massive attention of users to this phone.

However, Samsung has already introduced Air Gestures in its Samsung Galaxy S4 which let the users control some functionality via Screen Gestures by hovering their hands up to seven centimeters from the screen. But if LG is going to release this functionality at a major extent, they must improve its accuracy.

However, there is no more information about this phone, neither its name nor its specifications. So, to get more details of this phone we’ll have to wait until February 24, when LG will reveal this phone to the world.
