Barely two weeks ago, LG teased an image of its upcoming flagship phone. And now, the company has released a short teaser trailer for its upcoming Velvet smartphone that gives us a clearer look at its design. This is a completely refreshed design for an LG smartphone which was usually coming with a similar design. In addition to revealing the design of the phone, the teaser also revealed some key specs of the phone.
The upcoming flagship phone from LG comes with a cascading triple-camera setup on the rear arranged into what LG is calling a “raindrop” design. While the main camera of the phone is still raised from the back of the device, it is quite unique from what we have seen in the current trend of large camera bumps on the device.
The trailer also shows off a couple of other key details. The trailer confirms that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 5G 765 processor, which is a step down from Qualcomm’s current flagship, the Snapdragon 865. Additionally, the phone is seen to sport a 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom of the device. At the front, there is a display with a small teardrop notch. The teaser also shows four color options of the mobile that includes black, white, green, and an orange and pink hybrid.
There’s still no official word on when LG plans to announce the Velvet, but previously a report from Korean news portal Naver suggested it could be revealed on May 15th.
