LG Aristo 2 with 5” HD display & Snapdragon 425 Goes Official


LG has launched its latest budget-centric 4G smartphone dubbed as LG Aristo 2. The smartphone is available for order via MetroPCS with the price tag of $59 (Rs 4,000 approx) with the carrier plans, while without the carrier plan the cost of the device is $139 (Rs. 8870 approx). It will be made available only in Dark Titan color option.

Talking about the specifications, the Aristo 2 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and sports 5” HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with Adreno 308GPU. It offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

For photography, the LG Aristo 2 comes equipped with a 13MP primary camera with autofocus and LED flash support. On the front, it has a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

The smartphone is fueled by a 2140 mAh battery that is rated to give up to 17 hours of talk time. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, WiFi Calling, GPS,micro USB port and 3.5mm audio headphone jack. There is a fingerprint sensor placed on the backside of the device. Apart from a fingerprint sensor, the device also comes with facial recognition for enhanced security.
