Lenovo’s First Google Assistant-powered Smart Display Launched

Since the day SMART devices started to evolve devices of unbelievable ability came into existence and with Smart Display featuring Google Assistant Lenovo has developed a product with a great mind.

With the ever increasing features of Google Assist powered by AI Smart Display is updated with the latest updates of the Google Assist Lenovo has entered to compete with existing Amazon Echo Show like products.

Smart Display is a new category of devices for the smart home that brings the Google Assistant to an interactive screen for a richer visual experience. The first Smart Display from Lenovo will go on sale in major U.S. retail and online stores this weekend. With the Google Assistant built in, the Lenovo Smart Display brings you the best of Google services said Chris Turkstra, Director, Product Management, Assistant. Users will also be able to play content from Google Play Movies, YouTube, YouTube TV, Spotify, Pandora and HBO Now with Google offering three months of YouTube premium service free with every purchase.

The Lenovo Smart Display has gone on sale directly from Lenovo’s online store in the US. There are two display size models, one with an 8-inch screen is priced at $199.99 which is around Rs.13,700, while the 10-inch screen would cost $249.99 which would be around Rs.17,250.

The front of the Lenovo Smart Display looks like a large tablet with a huge speaker grill left the side of the screen. The 8-inch model is entirely grey in colour while the 10-inch model is white with a bamboo design on its back. The 8-inch model offers a 1280 x 800 resolution screen while the 10-inch model has a 1920 x 1200 resolution and both variants have viewing angles up to 86-degrees. For sound 8-inch model has two 1.75-inch 10W speakers while 10-inch model comes with two 2-inch 10W speakers and both are paired with two passive tweeters and support multi-room audio

The Lenovo Smart display is powered with a Snapdragon 624 SoC, support dual-band Wi-Fi along with Bluetooth. There is also a wide-angle 5MP camera which can support 720p resolution video calls.
