Lenovo K8 Plus with Dual Camera & 4000mAh Battery Lunched in India


On Wednesday, Lenovo has launched the Lenovo K8 plus smartphone in India. Main highlight of the smartphone is dual rare camera setup and big 4000mAh battery. The smartphone will be exclusively available via flipkart in Venom Black and Fine Gold colour variants. First sale will start on Thursday, September 7, at 12pm IST.

Company is offering several launch offers with the purchase of new Lenovo K8 Plus –

Coming on specification, Lenovo K8 Plus runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system (stock android) and sports 5.2” full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with 450 nits brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone is powered by up to 2.6GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 SoC and offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage wich can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card with a dedicated card slot. There is another 4GB RAM variant, called the Lenovo K8 Plus Holiday Edition, will be launched by the company during the Diwali season.

Coming on the main highlight of the smartphone, the Lenovo K8 Plus sports a dual rare camera setup including a 13MP Purecel Plus sensor along with 5MP depth sensor. It is capable to show the adjustment of depth of field in real-time. On the front, the device equipped with an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture, 84-degree wide-angle lens and supported with party flash.

The Lenovo K8 Plus fueled by a 4000mAh battery which can easily go up for the whole day. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro-USB port with OTG functionality. Sensors on the board accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. There is also a fingerprint scanner at the back.

Along with K8 Plus Lenovo also reveals the trimmed down version of the smartphone called Lenovo K8 with slightly lower specification. Lenovo K8 also runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and sports 5.2” HD (720×1280 pixels) display. The smartphone is powered by up to 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 SoC and offer same memory options as K8 Plus.

On the Camera front it sports a single 13MP front camera along with 8MP front facing camera with Party flash. Lenovo K8 also fueled by a 4000mAh battery. It will be made available for the offline retail soon, sadly pricing of K8 is not confirm by the company.
