Microsoft has finally unveiled Bethesda’s Starfield in its Xbox Games Showcase, providing fans with an extensive glimpse of what to expect. The gameplay video showcases various cities, including ‘New Atlantis,’ along with different factions, such as the ‘United Colonies’ and ‘Free Star Collective,’ and reveals the game’s surprisingly grounded “NASA Punk” aesthetic. Additionally, we get a sneak peek at Starfield’s diverse character creation, trait system, and skill trees. The video also explores how exploration works in this open-world space title and the various ways it encourages players to explore its vast world. Toward the end of the video, Bethesda shows us the intricacies of the “Ship Builder” mode.
But there’s more! Bethesda also introduced a rather quirky Starfield Collectors Edition watch, which connects to your smartphone, and a special edition controller that you won’t want to miss.
