left for dead 2: Left 4 Dead 2 is getting a new update after more than a decade

One of the most popular 4 player co-op games Left 4 Dead 2 is set to receive a new update after more than a decade since the game’s launch. The update, called The Last Stand, is “created by the community”. Game developer Valve, which also owns the Steam platform, launched the teaser trailer for the new update. The trailer does not show the gameplay or any new element that may have been added with the new update. Valve is expected to divulge more details about The Last Stand soon. Here is the teaser.

The lighthouse. Here’s where Coach, Ellis, Rochelle and Nick are going to make their last stand against the zombies. Or are they? The teaser just throws hints.
As for what little is known about the update, here are the words straight from the horse’s mouth: “It has been many years since the infection first hit. Radio silence, no sign of life, nothing but lingering hopes… CEDA is not going to save us. But there is hope! A few brave souls have continued the fight against all odds, and soon we can all benefit from their resilience.”
The new update is a community effort, as per the game developer. Would this be a new campaign mode or just a survival mode? What we are sure of is that the news of the update is sure to please all those veterans of the L4D series, taking them back for a nostalgia trip.
