Leaked Images of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Cover Display Widget Emerge on the Internet

Samsung’s highly anticipated foldable event is just around the corner, and eager enthusiasts have already been treated to leaked images of the upcoming Galaxy Fold 5 and Flip 5. Roland Quandt, known for leaking smartphone information, recently shared what appeared to be official Galaxy Z Flip 5 images. Although they have been taken down, they were re-shared by 9to5Google. The leaked images revealed several exciting features of the Cover Display, such as a full-screen calendar widget, a weather app, call history, a battery widget, and the ability to reply to texts without unfolding the device. The images also showcased the handset’s versatility with options like custom photos and boarding passes.

However, there are still uncertainties surrounding the Galaxy Z Flip 5. It is unclear whether users will have access to full apps on the front display or only a select number of widgets. A point of comparison can be drawn to the Motorola Razr+, which can run any app available on the handset on its cover screen. Hopefully, Samsung’s foldable device will offer a similar seamless experience. The leaked images also provide multiple angles of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, showcasing its gap-less hinge, which promises to enhance durability and aesthetics.

The official event is scheduled to take place on July 26th in Seoul, South Korea. In addition to the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Samsung plans to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Watch 6, and Galaxy Tab S9 series.
