Lava Z50 Android Go Smartphone Launched in India at an Effective Price of Rs 2,400


Domestic smartphone manufacturer, Lava Mobiles has today launched Its first Android Go smartphone dubbed as Lava Z50 in India. The Lava Z50 Android Go smartphone comes with the price tag of Rs 4,400 and will be available for purchase online via Flipkart, Amazon, and Snapdeal as well as over 100,000 retail stores across India. It comes in Black and Gold colour options.

the company has partnered with Airtel which brings down the price from Rs 4400 to Rs 2400. Airtel will offer Rs 2,000 cashback as a part of ‘Mera Phela Smartphone’ initiative. Users will get a cashback of Rs 2,000 and amount will be credited to the customer’s Airtel Payments Bank account, maybe after 36 months. The smartphone also comes with a 2-year manufacturer warranty. Furthermore, the company is also offering one-time screen replacement within one year from the date of purchase as the special launch offer.

To recall, the Lava Z50 Android Go smartphone was first at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 last month. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) operating system and sports a 4.5” FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display with a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. The smartphone is powered by a 1.1GHz MediaTek MT6737M quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 304 GPU. It offers 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card slot.

For photography, the Lava Z50 Android Go smartphone comes equipped with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash support for better lowlight capturing. It also offers Bokeh mode, blurring the background and highlighting the subject. On the front, there is also a 5MP camera with LED flash for selfies and video calls.

the Lava Z50 Android Go smartphone is fueled by a 2000mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and micro –USB port. It measures 135 × 66.6 × 9.7 mm and weighs 140 grams.
