Kyle Gallner Experiences a Life-Changing Event

Prepare yourself for a thrilling and intense adventure that explores the courage required to confront danger. Blumhouse Television and MGM+ have unveiled the first trailer for their upcoming film, The Passenger. Departing from the typical heartwarming sitcoms set in a workplace, this movie takes a terrifying twist as it delves into the terrifying journey of a person losing control. Randy (Johnny Berchtold) prefers to blend into the background, but when his coworker Benson (Kyle Gallner) embarks on a sudden and violent rampage, leaving destruction in his wake, Randy must confront his fears and face his troubled past in order to survive.

The film was directed by Carter Smith, a master at bringing horrifying stories to life. The chaotic destruction caused by Benson adds to Smith’s extensive collection of chilling tales. Drawing from his filmography, it is impossible to predict the fate of Randy and the other individuals who cross paths with this perilous threat. For instance, Smith’s previous work, Swallowed, explored an unconventional premise where characters had to consume birth control pills.

Starring as the unhinged man who spirals out of control and embarks on a violent spree, Kyle Gallner brings a unique energy to the character. Smith’s filmmaking style guarantees that there is a purpose behind Benson’s varied methods of killing. Meanwhile, Randy finds himself forced to assist in these crimes in order to preserve his own life, essentially becoming a hostage to this dangerous killer. Liza Weil also joins the cast, adding an interesting shift in her career following her appearances in two episodes of Westworld.
