June Pixel Feature Drop to include new Fitbit features as Google bundles them together

In 2019, Google made headlines with its $2.1 billion acquisition of Fitbit. Fast forward to today, and Google is once again making news with new features for Fitbit watches, bundled in with the recent feature drop for Pixel phones and Pixel Watch, set to roll out this week.

Here’s a look at the latest updates:

  • Health & Fitness Upgrades

The latest update automates your ‘Exercise’ menu, with a full list of exercise modes to choose from, prioritizing your most recent workouts. No longer do you need to manually adjust your list using the Fitbit mobile app. (available on Charge 5, Luxe, and Inspire 3).

  • Daily Readiness In a Glance

The “Daily Readiness Score” lets you check if your body is ready for your workouts or if rest and recovery is necessary. With this feature available on all Fitbit smartwatches and trackers, you can prioritize your daily health needs.

  • New Menstrual Health Tile

Log your period, view your cycle state, and edit information quickly and easily. This feature is available on Sense 2 and Versa 4, and you no longer need to open your phone to do it.

  • Notifications in More Languages and New Clock Faces

New support for global characters and right-to-left text allows you to receive notifications in additional languages. Four new clock faces are also available for Luxe, Inspire 3, and Charge 5 users.
