Pokémon TCG Japan is expanding its special set Pokémon Card 151, offering more products to stores for fans after the initial limited release.
Pokémon TCG Japan has unveiled details about the upcoming expansion set Pokémon Card 151, which is based on the original 151 Pokémon from the Kanto region. A highlight of this set is the reintroduction of a new Kadabra card after 21 years. Kadabra had previously been absent from the Pokémon TCG due to a legal dispute between magician Uri Geller and the company, but the complaint was withdrawn three years ago. Additionally, this expansion will follow the Pokédex order, a departure from the usual type-based order. The set was initially released on June 16th in Japan and will now serve as the first special set of the English-language Scarlet & Violet era, titled Scarlet & Violet – 151. With this new availability, collectors who missed out on the limited release will have a chance to obtain this set.
It has been announced that The Pokémon TCG Japan will soon release more Pokémon Card 151 products to local stores. To find out if your store will carry these products, it is recommended to contact them directly. This is a response to the high demand after the initial release, where products on the Pokémon Center were limited to one per person. Following this release, the company will launch the next set, Ruler of the Black Flame, on July 28th.
