iPhone SE 2 Leaked Renders Shows iPhone 8-Like Design With Single Rear Camera, Touch ID

Apple has been rumored for long to launch the successor of Apple iPhone SE which will be named as the Apple iPhone SE 2. The rumored Apple iPhone SE 2 is said to come with powerful internals while being cost-effective. And now in early January 2020, first leak-based renders and 360-degree video of the iPhone SE 2 have surfaced online, the same time frame in which the phone was tipped to enter mass production.

This leaked video-based render of Apple iPhone SE 2 shows an iPhone 8-like design, down to the single rear camera, thick bezels, and the Touch ID button. The phone is said to come with a 4.7-inch IPS LCD Retina display. This iPhone SE 2 CAD renders and the 360-degree video comes from the courtsey of tipster @OnLeaks in collaboration with iGeeksBlog.

iPhone SE 2 CAD render

At first look at the CAD render, you might think of iPhone 8. However, there are a few differences that distinguish both of these phones. The iPhone SE 2 is tipped to go for a frosted glass finish akin to the iPhone 11 Pro, and unlike the iPhone 8’s glossy finish. Also, looking closely at the picture reveals that the iPhone SE 2 comes with a stainless steel frame which is quite similar to that of iPhone X.

At the front, the iPhone SE 2 is said to come with a 4.7-inch IPS LCD Retina display. It has thick bezels and the circular home button with the Touch ID fingerprint sensor embedded in it. At the back, there is a single camera that is touted to be borrowed from the iPhone XR.

Under the hood, the iPhone SE 2 is touted to be powered by an A13 Bionic processor – the same chip that powers the iPhone 11 trio. Apart from this, there are no details available regarding the specifications of the iPhone SE 2. However, we can expect to have some more words on this in the coming months.
