iPhone 11 may come with an 18W fast charger with Lightning to USB-C Cable

According to a report by Japanese Apple news blog Macotakara, the upcoming iPhone will have the same Lightning connector but may come with an 18W fast charger and Lightning to USB-C cable. In addition, this report suggests that the upcoming iPhone may also come with bidirectional charging features.

Prior to this, TF International Securities Ming-Chi Kuo has also predicted that the upcoming iPhone 11 may come with bidirectional charging feature which gives the ability to the upcoming iPhone to wirelessly charge other devices.

This clearly notifies that the iPhone 11 will have enough power to charge devices like AirPods case and Apple watch wirelessly. If this report turns to be correct, this will be a great evolution in the iPhone technology.

Meanwhile, the 2019 iPhone may be shipped with an 18W charger and Lightning to USB-C cables instead of traditional Lighting to USB-A cables and 5W USB-A chargers. This will clearly enhance the charging speed of the iPhone and will allow it to charge from zero to 75% just in an hour.
