In the last week, Apple has released the first beta of iOS 12.2 which mainly focuses on the customization of Downtime Scheduling. This beta version of iOS lets you customize your Downtime Setting for a particular day of the week.
Before this release, iOS 12 lets its users set the Downtime which was applicable for all days, but now in this beta update, users can customize it on daily basis. Means they can set different Downtime for different days. This is really a good feature for all those peoples who don’t want to get disturbed by their phones on some particular day, mainly on Weekends. As they will not get any notifications during the Downtime schedule.
To enable it, you just have to head to your Setting>> Screen Time>> Downtime. From there, you can choose either you want the same schedule for every day or you want a customized schedule. If you marked on customized schedule, then thereafter you can set your schedule for the day you want it to be.
In case, if you are unfamiliar with this term Downtime in iOS, actually Downtime is a feature provided in the iOS 12 update using which user can set a schedule during which only the listed apps and contacts will be available, rest of them will be not available. Also, this Downtime scheduling syncs across all of your iCloud Services.
So, overall this is a nice feature coming in this iOS beta update. Tell us your thought about this update in the comment box. Are you excited about this update?
