Intex Aqua Lions X1 and X1+ with Shatterproof Displays and Android Nougat Launched in India


Intex today has launched two new smartphones the Aqua Lions X1 and Aqua Lions X1+ in India. The Intex Aqua Lions X1 comes with a price tag of Rs. 7,499, while the Aqua Lions X1+ is priced at Rs. 8,499 and will be available to purchase via offline retail stores across the county in in Black, Champagne, and Blue colour options.

The main highlight of the new Aqua Lions X1 and Aqua Lions X1+ is their shatterproof display, which the company claims are unbreakable. The company is also offering 1-year free screen replacement warranty with both the smartphones. Further more the smartphones also comes with up to 25GB of additional 4G data from Reliance Jio.

Talking about specifications, the Intex Aqua Lions X1 and Aqua Lions X1+ runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and sports 5.2” (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display. The smartphones are powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The main difference of Aqua X1 and Aqua X1+ are their RAM and storage configuration. The Intex Aqua X1 offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage while the Aqua X1+ comes equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

For photography, both the smartphones features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash support for better lowlight capturing. On the front, there is a 5MP front facing camera with flash.

Both the smartphones are fueled by a 2800mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, micro USB port. The is also a fingerprint scanner at the back. Both of them measures 150 x 74.4 x 9.0 mm and weighs 170 grams.

The smartphones also come preloaded with Prime Videos, which allow users to enjoy unlimited access to stream and download their popular movies or TV shows. Other preloaded apps include MiFon Security and Swiftkey keyboard.
